Farmers are Innovators

Farmers have always been leaders in trying new things, evolving from cultivators a thousand years ago to today’s active innovators in new ideas about production. Technology disruptors come along all of the time, and farmers adopt operations as needed to see if it improves the food we produce, or impacts profitability.

I think that agricultural spray drones represent the next step in this evolution, enabling farmers to efficiently deploy precise amounts of pesticides, fertilizers, and other treatments, minimizing waste and maximizing crop health. And even during all of this collecting data and providing the experimental feedback to improve the next growing season. These flying robots leverage the time and energy spent farming to improve operations in many ways.

One of the reasons I founded this service agency, Kansas Agricultural Drone Services, llc, is to help farmers understand this new technology without a lot of sales pitches. Farmers can learn more about agricultural drones by reading some of the articles I have written and posted on this very site.
