Batch Split KML Files — Before You Begin
⚠ Review each split carefully before accepting
On irregular or highly concave fields, the automatic cut line may produce overlapping polygons. A flight controller presented with overlapping boundaries may produce incorrect flight paths or reject the boundary entirely. You must reposition the cut line manually if you see this condition.
⚠ INVALID — polygons overlap
✔ VALID — clean, non-overlapping halves
A valid split produces two polygons that together cover the entire field with no overlap and no gaps. Each polygon should be a simple, clean shape — one side follows the field boundary, the other follows the straight cut line. Neither polygon should loop back on itself or cross the other.
If the split looks wrong, click Adjust, then reposition the cut line:
① Drag endpoint 1 — moves the entire cut line without changing its angle.
② Drag endpoint 2 — pivots the cut line, changing the angle while keeping endpoint 1 fixed.
